Seriously?
So McCain want(s/ed) to postpone the debate due to the economy. While I feel on face value what is being said is all noble and stuff, I have to ponder the true behinde the scenes issues with this. A president is going to have to be able to “multi-task” many different aspects of a very demanding career. That being said, there is never going to be one crisis at a time to maintain. In general superstitious speaking terms, things happen in 3’s. If you aren’t able to handle a major economic crisis and a 2 hour debate at the same time – I don’t want you in office. I like that Obama had the good sense to say, yes, we should work on this major economic crisis together, however we need to keep the debate in process….Although I really wish he would have said – “Oh, I totally understand. Since we are holding of the presidential debate, why don’t we move up the VP debate – Sarah’s not doing anything at that point right?!?”. Ahh…to be the bigger person when pissed.
